In my 20 years as a counselor and coach, I've worked with hundreds of professionals and emerging leaders in high-stress careers such as healthcare and the creative arts. I am passionate about helping high-achieving individuals learn tools to release self-limiting patterns so they can live more in alignment with who they are meant to be. @@----HOW I WORK----@@ I am trained and certified in lots of approaches that can help, Including: * EMDR * Somatic experiencing * Internal Family Systems (IFS) * Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Therapy * Acceptance & Commitment Therapy * Gottman Couples Therapy What matters most is that I will work with you to tailor a practical approach that will focus on your whole being - body & mind. EMDR/IFS intensives are a great way to turbocharge your healing process. Intensives range from either 3-hour stints or 5 hours/day for 3 days in a row. I love intensives! We get focused and go deep. Together, we create a sweet cocoon of insight and integration focused on you! @@----MY BACKGROUND----@@ In addition to my private coaching & counseling practice, I serve as the Director of the Counseling & Well-Being Services at Wake Forest University's School of Medicine. Prior to returning to school for counseling, I worked in journalism and public relations for a decade.
